Hello everyone! My name is Britton Delperdang and I am a 21 year old recent college graduate from Sioux City, Iowa. My next adventure will start in January when I leave the states on an 11 month mission trip called the World Race! The areas that will be covered on this will be South, Southeast, and Central Asia, along with Eastern and Western Europe.
On this mission trip, I will go with a team where we will go into various parts of the world with the goal of sharing the love of God and reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This could entail many different ways in which we do that throughout each particular place and some areas will focus on things such as addressing the issues of human trafficking while other places we will focus on church planting.
The reason behind why I am going on this mission trip is to ultimately live out these commandments in Mark 12:30-31
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
This trip will allow me to serve the Lord in ways that I never have before and experience different cultures while seeing the love of more and more Christ in those experiences.
There are three ways I am going to lay out today where you can support me in this journey. First is by subscribing to my blog where you will receive updates through email every time that I upload. The second way, also the most important way that you can support me in the journey is to be praying over it. Pray that the Lord’s will is done in everything that I do and experience over the coming months.
